The Foundation course is where it all begins and is the foundation course for all the others.  It gives you the teachersÕ role in structuring cooperative learning, the rationale and research that supports it; the ways to strengthen cooperative learning with difficult groups and students; the teaching of cooperative skills, monitoring for appropriate behaviors and processing the effectiveness of the group.

The Leadership Course is the training for how to teach the Foundation Course to teachers and others effectively.  The Foundation Course and the Advanced and/or Conflict Courses are required to take this course.

The Conflict Resolution Course deals with teaching cooperative skills, emphasizing conflict skills.  It will deal with two kinds of conflict:  conflicts of interest where negotiation is required to resolve the conflict; and controversy where intellectual conflict is encouraged.  The skills needed to make both of these conflict situations successful are introduced and the conflict theory is integrated into the training.
